Frequently Asked Questions

About AskTAD. A working notebook for luxury travel advisors. Not a CRM. Not a booking engine. One place for everything you already know.

Where does my data live?

Working data lives in AskTAD's encrypted database so search and answers are fast. If you connect Google Drive and keep automatic backups on, AskTAD also writes a restorable snapshot to a Drive folder you control. You own your data and can export it any time.

Can I export everything?

Yes. Contacts, logs, and property notes export any time, in standard formats. A tool you can't leave isn't one to trust.

What does "AI" actually mean here?

TAD reads your notes and answers in plain language, using top-tier AI models. Your data is never used to train them. What you log stays yours.

Do I have to manage contacts in two places?

No. You can review and pull contacts from Google or Outlook, or use AskTAD as a standalone address book. AskTAD does not push edits back to Google or Outlook Contacts.

Who is this for?

Luxury travel advisors who meet a lot of people, see a lot of properties, and need to find any of it later. If you need a sales pipeline, look elsewhere. If you need your professional memory organized, this is it.

AskTAD was built by a travel advisor, for the way advisors actually work.

What if I change agencies?

Your account, your data. Your login (e.g. personal Gmail) is separate from your contact-sync source (e.g. agency Outlook). Switch agencies, swap the sync source, keep the AskTAD account. Contacts, logs, property notes, and relationships all stay.

Should I use my work email or personal email to sign in?

Use an account you own. If your agency owns the domain, they can revoke access when you leave. Sign in with personal Gmail, iCloud, or your own client-facing domain. Connect work email separately for contact sync.

Is this a CRM?

Not exactly. CRMs are built around leads, pipelines, and deal stages. AskTAD is built around professional memory: who you've met, what you've seen, what you know. If you need a sales pipeline, look elsewhere. If you need your knowledge organized, this is it.

Does it work offline?

Not yet. AskTAD is a web app and currently needs a connection to read or save records, ask TAD, import sources, and run Smart Debrief.

How does the My Places library work?

Your personal library of trusted spots: restaurants, bars, cafés, guides, drivers. Searchable by destination, tagged by client type. When a client asks where to eat in Paris, you pull from places you've vetted.

What's a "smart debrief"?

A short conversational interview after a site visit, fam trip, or experience. TAD asks one question at a time ("what stood out?", "who's it for?", "anything to flag?") and turns your answers into clean notes filed against the property. Or record a voice memo, paste the transcript, and TAD parses it the same way.

How much does it cost?

Base is $19.99/month (100 TAD tasks: Ask TAD answers, source parses, card scans, and generated debrief/summary work). Pro is $39/month (400 tasks), launching later. Early access: full Base, free, no card.

When is it available?

Private early access right now. We're admitting advisors gradually as we build. Drop your email on the main page and we'll reach out when a spot opens.
